Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam - Peoples' President of India

All through his term as President of India, he was widely known as the Peoples' President and a poll conducted by news channel CNN-IBN named him "India's Best President". Dr. Kalam better known as a scientist also has exclusive interest in the field of arts like writing poems in Photo Credit: Wickipedia his mother tongue Tamil, and also playing the music instrument Veena. Abdul Kalam played a central organizational, technical and political role in Pokhran-II nuclear test in 1998, the first since the original nuclear test by India in 1974. . Tipu Sultan of Mysore
